Welcome to The Ceramics Trail

The Ceramics Trail in Middelfart is a 2.3-kilometer-long route that combines the experience of ceramic art with harbor ambiance and city life.

How it works

On the trail, you can use your smartphone to activate the QR code on the sculptures.

For some of the sculptures, there are also accompanying videos about their creation. The videos were created as part of the exhibition project “Large Formats Clever Hands” in 2017 in collaboration with Tommerup Ceramic Workshop.

Clayfinding

To stay on the Ceramics Trail, you just follow the glazed ceramic tiles and stones in the pavement along the route.

 The blue, green and red shades will stand out and guide you around.
